Partner Management Features
A PRM with all the standard features for channel partner management – and a lot of amazing additional features
(that you don't need but you'll be glad to have).
PRM Features: "Standard" features vs. "Additional" features
Commonly-found features in a PRM across most, full-stack PRM vendors (historically, these have been standard features targeting channel programs):
1. Deal management (includes: deal registration, pipeline tracking, deal exclusivity, lead distribution). This is the primary use case of PRM software.
2. Partner enablement & onboarding tools for facilitating the process of training partners. Usually includes some sort of an LMS, file-sharing, and document management. This would be another primary use case of a PRM system.
3. Partner communication tools for centralizing communications, news and sending updates at scale. This is a *secondary* use case of PRM.
4. Partner reporting & analytics tools. This is a *secondary* use case of PRM.
5. Partner marketing tools (usually includes co-branding, MDF, through-partner marketing automation). This is a *secondary* use case of PRM.
6. CRM integration(s). This is foundational to any PRM. If you don't have a comprehensive CRM connection in your PRM that's easy to set up and manage, it's time to switch your PRM provider ASAP.
What are the "Additional" features we have?
Any other features aside from the above can be considered "additional" features or supplementary features. These supplementary features can still be very useful for your partnership needs (and often are) but they're not foundational to having a PRM that serves its purpose.

Partner roles: You can restrict their access to CRM data, ensuring they don't see other partner's data.
Guest roles: Designed for public access control.
Content-sharing Permissions

REST API
Magentrix's API is public. Provides a robust REST API for integrating with the Magentrix platform. Most of the competition allows you to access a limited subset of object data – if you can access it at all. While Magentrix allows you to access everything so you can customize what you need, to scale your partner ecosystem.
Developer Console
If a software allows you to customize it in ways that go beyond what's out of the box, you're looking at a platform as a service (PaaS) – this is what Magentrix is, and our Developer Console is how you get it done. We allow you to extend the platform.
Why is this useful?
To "extend a platform" means to enhance, expand, or customize a software platform's capabilities beyond its original or out-of-the-box features. Develop and integrate additional functionalities, modules, custom applications, web-hooks, and triggers or tools that work within the existing framework of the platform.
With a PaaS-based PRM, you have the power to better meet specific partners' needs, integrate the PRM with other systems, or support unique partner processes that the original platform might not fully accommodate.
Automation
Automated actions. Possible actions include:
- Configuring email alerts
- Specifying users to follow records and receive updates
- Sending Magentrix instant messaging to users or groups
- Creating automated task reminders

Social Groups: Facilitate community-building by letting users form, join, and manage groups.
Social Threads: Social media feed-style threads for communicating with partners directly from lead records, contacts, opportunities, documents, and more.
Social Feeds: Subscribe to updates on social activity by following users of your choice – delivered in a feed format.
Social Messaging (DMs): Send messages to other users in a private, one-on-one conversation.
